Abstract

Aveley Electric Ltd. have recently introduced into the United Kingdom the new Kretz Ultrasonic Thickness Testing Instrument, Type Series 6,000. The equipment which incorporates a high stability wide band amplifier having a frequency range of 3 mcs‐20 mcs, has been specially designed to include facilities for the accurate measurement of dilation or contraction, and a special triggering circuit to give warning when a pre‐determined limit of measurement has been reached.
