Research and Test Apparatus

Abstract

Numerous components in high temperature machines are subjected during their working life to both static (creep) stresses and cyclic (fatigue) stresses. For example, with turbine blades, centrifugal force gives the creep increment of stress, and vibration gives the fatigue increment.
