Auxiliary Equipment
Abstract
Details of Some Components Used for Subsidiary Services in Aircraft, Missiles and Space Vehicles. Electrolytic marking is rapidly becoming established as an inexpensive and efficient means of imprinting identification and inspection marks on metal surfaces. The mark is clear, permanent or removable, easy and quick to make, and it does not raise burrs nor create stresses. The high standard of finish required in the aircraft industry makes electrolytic marking mandatory, and it is also widely used throughout industry generally as a means of making inspection and trade marks as well as purely decorative patterns.
