Abstract

Brief Particulars of Recently Introduced Materials likely to have Aircraft, Missile or Space Vehicle Applications. Stronger and more reliable steel alloys are the object of research at Sheffield University to be supported by a grant of £60,720 from the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research. This work, under the direction of Professor R. W. K. Honeycombe, of the University's metallurgical department, aims to create a new basic framework in ferrous metallurgy.
