Dynamic manned vehicle simulator

Abstract

THE VALUE OF SIMULATION is directly proportional to its realism and the Systems Division of British Aircraft Corporation has built up and operates at Weybridge a facility unique in Europe. It is capable of providing not only full‐scale simulation of visual and aural effects as in most contemporary systems but also a high fidelity simulation of the changes in acceleration experienced by the occupants of the vehicle; the extra realism thus produced adds very considerably to the value of the results obtained.
