Increasing efficiency

Abstract

Previously British European Airways had used conventional epoxy or synthetic finishes for the paint coatings of their aircraft. They had to be re‐painted every 18 months to two years, particularly as the paints did not possess high resistance to aggressive hydraulic fluids.
