Abstract

CONCORDE'S OLYMPUS ENGINES have a hearty appetite for Kerosene. A fuel load of some 25,000 imp gal enables it to operate on transatlantic and other route stages with adequate diversion margins. As can be seen from the diagram, virtually the whole of the wing area comprises fuel tank cells to accommodate this massive load, which weighs almost 200,0001b.
