MRCA—all things to European Air Forces'
Abstract
THE swing‐wing MRCA is said to be unveiled, but its advanced engineering and equipment none the less remains coyly wrapped in secrecy and this special issue is, therefore, equally constrained. And while there is a need to keep certain details under a classified screen we would question the wisdom of NAM MA placing a twitch on every sub‐contractor's Publicity Manager and/or PRO. A tight‐rein — yes, but a twitch — never. Surely to goodness some discretion can be left to the publicity executives? If it is otherwise, then is it necessary for NAMMA to put sub‐contractors’ submissions in a deep freeze? You only have to look at the gaps in this MRCA issue to understand the implications of a deep freeze!
