VFW 614 airframe

Abstract

THE special operation of the VFW 614 as a short‐haul aircraft and the large number of load cycles (take‐off, climb, cruise, descent, landing) involved made it necessary to design the airframe for a service life of 60,000 flights (30,000 flight hours).
