New Look for International Federation of Airworthiness

Abstract

OUR Organisation has been in existence since 1964, when the first International Conference took place in London. We have been restricted in the past by our own rules from recruiting any organisation other than Societies similar to our own parent Society, the Society of Licensed Aircraft Engineers and Technologists. This restriction not only prevented our expansion; it also effectively limited our income. We needed a “new look”; a breakaway from SLAET, our own Secretariat, and our own Secretary‐General to give IFA his undivided attention.
