Abstract

The FRG 70 D integrated flight control system feeds back heavily coupled the deviation values of the angle of attack and the flight path as well as all essential state vectors to the elevator and thrust, and makes therefore possible the accurate control of the state of flow and the flight path. The digital design of the FRG 70 D is mounted in a housing 1/2 ATR long. The input of nominal values and the mode selection is made by means of a digital pilot control unit. A data processor included in the control unit organizes the data transfer between flight control system and control unit and takes over further data processing tasks for the purpose of relieving the flight control system.
