Fifty Years of Flight Simulation

Abstract

An Exhibition and Conference on the occasion of the fiftieth year of Flight Simulation was held in London on April 23, 24 and 25. This unusual event attracted many international contributions both to the Exhibition and the Conference and distinguished visitors including HRH the Duke of Edinburgh. Companies whose products were either demonstrated or described in detail included the Singer Link organisation which had one of the original Link Trainers on show as well as information on Advanced Simulation Technology (AST) developed since 1973 to enable the latest improvements to be applied to training requirements.
