An International Engineer's View of The 1979 Paris Air Show

Abstract

Perhaps a good subject on which to commence a report on a visit to the Paris Air Show with aircraft from many countries being displayed; all designed and constructed to their own country's Airworthiness Requirements and demonstrated to potential buyers from all over the world, is the need for some sort of International Certification Standard.
