RB 211 — The Way Ahead

Abstract

Development of the range of RB 211 engines for two, three and four‐engined aircraft is characterised by optimisation of each of the types according to a particular application. At the same time, an advance in one powerplant which will clearly be of value to others is embodied over the range, so that a continual programme of product improvement is maintained.
