Abstract

Dowty announced an order with a potential value, including spares, in excess of £7 million, for the flap system for the CASA‐Nurtanio CN235. The CN235 is a passenger/transport aircraft designed to carry 34–38 passengers and stems from collaboration between CASA, Madrid and Nurtanio of Bandung, Indonesia. Two prototypes are being built for test flying commencing in 1983. Deliveries are planned to commence in 1984.
