The Fairey Memorial Lecture: Aero Engine Development — The Next Generation

Abstract

The subject of my talk is “Aero Engine Development—The Next Generation.” To understand where we are going, it is essential to understand where we are today, and to trace the technological achievements that made possible the tremendous progress we have seen in aircraft gas turbines.
