Lucas Aerospace Division Selects Gildemeister CNC Lathes

Abstract

Its close proximity to the Sundon Park, Luton, base of turning specialists Gildemeister‐UMT Ltd, is only one of the reasons why the Power Systems Division of Lucas Aerospace, headquartered at Hemel Hempstead, is using Gildemeister machines. Availability and access to spares is crucial of course, but more important is Gildemeister's reputation in turning technology, supplementary techniques, and flexible manufacturing systems.
