LTV Project Offers ‘Breakthrough’ in Missile and Jet Engine Performance

Abstract

LTV AEROSPACE and Defense Company has received a $45 million contract from the US Air Force to develop and demonstrate an advanced material that will, it is stated, revolutionise missile and other types of aircraft performance. The research is sponsored by the Pentagon's Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency.
