Dowty in Airbus Programmes

Abstract

DOWTY Group Aerospace Division companies are deeply involved in the Airbus programmes. These commitments represent major investments in both capital equipment and engineering by the Division's companies providing landing gear for the A310, A320 and future aircraft derivatives. In addition, Dowty provides a range of ancillary airframe equipment including emergency ram air turbines, hydraulics, aileron droop actuators, spoiler controls plus booster stage bleed valve actuators, scavenge valve and variable stator van actuators for the IAE V2500 engine and a range of electrical components.
