MBB Develops New Tool for Production of CFRP Aircraft Components

Abstract

THE use of automatic and flexible machines for production of plastic parts — especially those made of carbon fibre reinforced plastics — is an esesntial requirement in modern methods of aircraft manufacture, which are now almost completely mechanised and computerised with the consequent additional advantage of flexibility.
