Abstract
WHEREAS some companies break into new metalcutting technology slowly, Rivers Engineering Ltd, Winchester, has plunged straight into complex subcontract work by fitting a full, rotary computer‐controlled axis on its first machining centre, an Interact 720 from Bridgeport Machines Ltd, Leicester.
