Anti‐Static Spot Blaster Provides Ideal Bonding Surface

Abstract

Airship Industries (UK) manufacture its monocoque airship gondolas using Kevlar skin and titanium‐faced bulkhead panels. To achieve a good bond between the otherwise glossy titanium surface and the composite, Airship Industries have discovered that the Redashe AntiStatic Spot Blaster — normally used for airframe corrosion treatment — abrades the titanium surface ideally for perfect bonding.
