Abstract

A new BeadBreaker for aircraft tyres is marketed by Kunz. The first Schäfer UBB BeadBreaker is in operation since April 1990 at Monarch Aircraft Engineering, a bunch of orders have been received by Kunz for this machine in the meanwhile. British Airways took delivery of two UBB BeadBreakers in January 1991. The UBB BeadBreaker does not require adapter rings to process different tyre sizes. It is operated by electro‐hydraulic power. It is a low‐noise machine and very fast in operation.
