Abstract
THE trend in high voltage connectors is towards miniaturisation, while providing the same degree of voltage handling and anti‐corona discharge performance as conventional designs. This usage of smaller dimensions is being achieved through careful design of parameters such as the tracking path lengths, scrupulous exclusion of air from the cable, connector internals and the mating surfaces.
