Advancing Helicopter Technology

Abstract

CURRENT rotating wing aircraft undergoing flight testing or about to go into service incorporate airframe, engine and systems developments produced to answer the needs highlighted in HARP and other subsequent reports. These advances are the latest in a line of improvements in safety and operational efficiency that continue to evolve and will lead to relaxing present helicopter flight envelope limitations.
