Financial Reporting: The Case for a New Global Model
Abstract
Traditional financial reporting has long been the cornerstone of investor confidence. Until now, it has served us well in global capital markets. Yet recent dramatic changes in technology and in the global environment are giving rise to the preeminence of knowledge as both a business cost and asset, thereby, redefining the game, and calling on us to develop a new reporting model to reflect this change and to keep investor confidence strong.
