Abstract

The process of making acquisitions has been thoroughly treated in books, journals, and seminars and, perhaps by now, by streetcorner orators as well. There is so much information on the subject that, in theory at least, corporations' research, negotiations, and integration of acquisitions should be flowing smoothly and successfully, and all parties should be living happily ever after.
