LIBS 100 running under UNIX at Croydon

Abstract

VINE 66 (July 1987) reported on the decision by CLSI to move away from the proprietary operating and database management systems used in the past to an industry standard operating system (UNIX). At the same time, the use of Sequent parallel processing computers for large library systems was also announced.
