Abstract

The Neumo indexing conveyor machine automatically bottom fills foaming liquid into 1 gallon (5 litre) plastic containers. It will also automatically top fill containers of up to 1 gallon with non‐foaming liquids, while a hand‐held remote filling probe is provided to fill up to 45 gallon containers semi‐automatically. It is suitable for liquid products such as chemicals, paints, bulk pharmaceuticals and cosmetics. Typical speeds for automatic filling are 12 one gallon (5 litre) containers in a minute with non‐foaming liquids, and 6 to 8 one gallon containers a minute with foaming liquids. Operating semi‐automatically, the typical filling speed for both foaming and non‐foaming liquids is up to 3 five gallon (25 litre) containers a minute and one 45 gallon container every 2½ minutes. Filling accuracy is guatanteed to ±0·25% by volume, while volume of fluid dispensed — imperial, metric or US — can be preset on a turret control for instant selection.
