First advanced‐generation membrane for gas separations

Abstract

Permea Inc., a Monsanto company, announced last month that it has developed advanced‐generation membrane gas separators which are 200 percent to 400 percent more efficient than current separators. This development was based on the invention by Permea scientists of a method to alter the structure of a broad range of membranes.
