Abstract

At a time when governments throughout Europe are majoring in environmental issues and it is topical to be green and recycled, Solrec has gone one stage further. For the solvent reclamation refinery based at Heysham Lancashire has become the first of its kind to meet the requirements of BS 5750 part II. The scope of Soiree's registration covers the processes for recovery of solvents from solvent based waste, the blending of solvents to form automotive refinishing products and the incineration of waste solvents.
