Abstract

Whatever material is used as a floor covering depends to a very large extent on the quality of the sub‐floor. This is more than ever true today with the introduction of sheets and tile floorings which, because of their high resistance to abrasion and chemical attack, are being manufactured in thinner and thinner sections.
