Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to describe the various types of information required, the sources available, the operation of a small information service, and methods of co‐operative effort. Of necessity, therefore, it must be extensive in scope, and I must apologize at the outset for treating only briefly each aspect and for disregarding the particular problems of specific industries.
