After PERLINE: one route to computerised housekeeping using PERLINE as a starting point

Abstract

The UKAEA Library, Risley provides standard library services based on manual systems with a staff mostly of clerical level. Increasing demands made on ageing systems were reducing the effectiveness of the staff and the efficiency of the service.
