U.S. sales of Lubricants

Abstract

AN interesting compilation of the sales of lubricating oils and greases throughout the U.S.A. in 1947, has recently been released. This classes all lubricant sales by states, types, and company classifications. The work was undertaken by the Office of Domestic Commerce, U.S. Department of Commerce, in co‐operation with the American Petroleum Institute, who initiated and financed the original collection of data, which is extremely valuable to U.S. lubricating oil companies.
