Atomic Energy Research To Aid Petroleum Processing

Abstract

AT THE NEW WANTAGE RADIATION LABORATORY in Berkshire by arrangement with the U.K. Atomic Energy Authority who own the site and its facilities, Esso Research Limited are making experiments in the largest gamma irradiation cells in Europe, to find out what atomic energy can do to improve petroleum products and to ease their processing.
