Abstract

COMPRISING four generating units with a total rated capacity of 300,000 kW, the new Brownlee hydro‐electric generating station of the Idaho Power Company on the Snake River in the Pacific Northwest of the U.S.A. forms part of a $164 million three‐project development scheme at Hells Canyon reach at the Idaho‐Oregon boundary and was completed early in 1959.
