Abstract

IT is frequently necessary to heat lubricating oils and greases to minimum temperatures to ensure necessary flow rates, ease of handling, emptying of containers, or for many other purposes. One of the most practicable and efficient methods of doing this is by using electric surface heaters of various types, e.g. drum heaters, drum base heaters, electrically heated tapes and jackets for wrapping round pipelines, etc. One manufacturer of this type of equipment is Isopad Ltd., Barnet by‐Pass, Boreham Wood, Herts.
