A DUMPING VALVE TO ELIMINATE EXCESS DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE

Abstract

MANUFACTURERS of modern gas engine compressors generally oppose the use of internal bypass relief valves in lubricating oil filters. The reason for this is that these relief valves allow dirty oil to be discharged into the bearing header with the risk of possible damage to the engine bearings.
