Abstract

AFTER looking at the illustrations below, we can understand the remarks by one of the operators in this factory, after installation of a system to remove oil fog, “I notice the biggest difference with my hair—it used to get full of oil, now I don't have to wash it every day.” The cutting oil also had a sulphur content which was not good for operators to breathe, and it did not help cleanliness of overalls.
