Abstract

OUR readers will be fully acquainted with the range of “porous oil‐filled” bearing materials, “impregnated” bearing materials, and similar “sintered” materials by other names, available from several manufacturers and all filling very useful purposes for one‐thousand‐and‐one machine parts. Any new bearing material is of interest to designers, especially those with tribology in mind.
