Abstract

It is no easy matter, at the best of times, for an employer to keep his employees' pension and death benefit arrangements up‐to‐date. The increasing pace of change in recent years has redoubled the difficulties. This article examines the implications for employers of the changes in pension scheme approval, introduced by the Finance Act 1970 and the proposed National Pensions structure introduced by the Social Security Act.
