Abstract
When a company hits trouble, managers — like anyone else — fight to preserve their jobs. But Marvin Epstein — international sales services director of the US‐based Austin construction group — says that this instinct must be combined with an acknowledgement of past mistakes, and the willingness to re‐think policy.
