Tourism and humanism: Perspective 2000

Abstract

The reaction to the challenge of the perspective of 2000 must necessarily depend on the age of the writer. The realization that the beginning of a new millennium may be beyond one's life expectancy is not in itself distressing; it does rather allow for a more objective approach to the problems which this generation is bequeathing to its heirs.
