Abstract

In the process of economic transformation in the Czech Republic into a market‐oriented system, tourism proves to be a forward‐looking branch for entrepreneurial activities, simultaneously helping to create working opportunities in the country's different regions and communities. The large number of foreign visitors coming to the Czech Republic, combined with demand, has prompted the development of a broad range of services, not only those immediately connected with tourism, such as accommodation, catering, transport and the guide service, but also the supporting branches, mainly industry, trade, construction and communal services.
