Note from the editors

Article Type: Note from the editors From: European Journal of Marketing, Volume 44, Issue 3/4

It has been one of the pleasures of being part of a growing community of scholarship to call upon some tremendous supporters and enthusiasts for political marketing to assist with the development of this special issue.

First, we must thank the person who over the past three years has provided the anchor in terms of administration and attention to detail in ensuring the quality of the work is of the highest standard. That is Kerry Kirkland of the University of Otago, who has both organised us and kept the reviews, edits and papers flowing. Even when one of the editors decided to move back from the Southern to the Northern hemisphere she kept the administration and scholarship of this journal afloat. Kerry, thank you from us both. In addition, we must thank David Carson and Audrey Gilmore of the University of Ulster who agreed to the special issue as then editors of EJM and also Nick Lee and Gordon Greenley of Aston who have supported us as the new editors as we finally crossed the finishing line. In addition we would like to thank Richard Whitfield at Emerald for his support and encouragement throughout our editorship.
