Invitation to take part in Netd@ys 2001
Invitation to take part in Netd@ys 2001Keywords: Education, New technology, Internet, Information
The European Commission invites organizations to take part in Netd@ys 2001, being held from 19 until 25 November, by presenting a project demonstrating good educational use of online technology in the areas of youth and culture. The key objective of the campaign is to raise awareness of the possibilities of using new media, sounds and images as resources for learning and teaching. Previously, Netd@ys has focused on schools, which this year became the focus of the e-Schola initiative. Netd@ys 2001 will, for the first time, concentrate on youth issues. It will continue to promote the educational and cultural benefits of the Internet and new media for equipping European citizens with the skills needed for full participation in the information society.
Netd@ys projects can be submitted any time before the Netd@ys week.
