European universities launch "Euro league"

Six universities have agreed to co-operate in a new "Euro league" network of EU universities with special expertise in the fields of natural resources, food and life sciences. Participating universities will share expertise and costs in developing and delivering degree programmes. They will also examine issues such as teacher mobility and mutually recognized quality assessment. The institutions involved are the University of Aberdeen, Universitat fur Bodenkultur (Austria), Universitat Hohenheim (Germany), the Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University (Denmark), the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (Sweden) and Wageningen University (The Netherlands).
