Universal Power Systems has launched PowerProCARE™, a new support service to provide high-level power protection for all datacentre applications. It will be of particular relevance to organisations operating mission critical datacentres such as emergency services, vehicle breakdown, major retail operations and financial institutions.
This new PowerProCARE™ package provides a range of services to users of uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) including a unique five-year guarantee that replaces the standard manufacturer supplied warranty. In addition, battery packs are automatically renewed after two and a half years when a preventive maintenance service is also performed. During this service, each UPS is thoroughly checked and tested and any components which show any sign of weakness are replaced. Should a UPS fail on site, a replacement module will be delivered within 24 hours.
