Herman Miller excels and receives four industrial design excellence awards

An American design industry jury of top business executives and educators has chosen four Herman Miller products as winners in the 2000 Industrial Design Excellence Awards (IDEA).
The international competition, co-sponsored by the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA) and Business Week magazine, has named Herman Miller's new Resolve office system a Gold award winner. Additionally, the company's Levity Collection and Reaction chair received Silver awards, and its Caper seating earned a Bronze award.
Marc Phibbs, vice president of marketing at Herman Miller, said:
We're very honored to be acknowledged with four IDEA awards in this year's competition.
We feel that Herman Miller products provide breakthrough solutions in today's changing workplace, and we're pleased that our peers in the industrial design community also recognize the value in each of these particular products.
